Vanessa Hudgens is looking tough in leather duds in the first Sucker Punch poster. The first poster is out and showing off Vanessa Hudgens, along with her co-stars Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Jamie Chung and others in black leather, fishnets, and dark make-up.

We've never seen Vanessa in a role like this one - it appears to be tough, but also very sxey at the same time. "Sucker Punch" is described by film-makers as Alice in Wonderland with machine guns. If that's not enough to get you into theaters I don't know what is. The basic plot will center around a young girl in the 1950's who is placed in an institution by her evil stepfather. In an effort to escape her horrific reality, she starts to imagine another life for herself. She then hatches her plan to escape from her imaginary world but first she'll have to steal 5 objects.

Sucker Punch is set for a March 2011 release.

wherein she will star in the musical Rent as Mimi. The stage production will run from August 6-8 2010 at the Hollywood Bowl.

Vanessa Hudgens' involvment in the production drew negative comments, but director Neil Patrick Harris defended his decision with casting Hudgens by saying, “Vanessa [Hudgens] is awesome. i think it was ok that he was joking and stuff but to do it in front of a bunch of kids and stuff is kinda wrong. There were like 12 and 13 year olds watching even 11 year olds. The Brothers Garcia also is a great show if you want to learn some Spainish and learn about the Hispanic culture. Two thumbs up!

Vanessa Hudgens appeared in Robbery Homicide Division as Nicole at "Had" (Season 1, Episode 10). Robbery Homicide Division (RHD) was an American police procedural television series on CBS, created by Barry Schindel with Executive Producer Michael Mann.

Although RHD was critically acclaimed, Law & Order: SVU had better ratings in the same time slot. CBS placed the show on hiatus after the December 7th episode. The series was cancelled after ten episodes. Mann told Variety magazine, "I guess maybe the show never found its audience." There was possible interest by HBO or CBS sister network Showtime to pick up the series, but it never went further than speculation. Because of its NBC Universal ownership, reruns of the series have since aired on the high definition network Universal HD.

Excellent Though Shortlived Cop Series, (Robbery Homicide Division LA)RHDLA is was a great series by the director of Miami Vice and Crime Story. Tom Sizemore leads a credible cast of middle aged detectives in a variety of stories. Ironically, it was Sizemore who in real life got on the wrong side of the law after beating up longtime girlfriend and ex-Hollywood Madam Heidi Fleiss during a cocaine and viagra fueled binge. So much for the real drama being on the screen.

Robbery Homicide Division LA is a series from the director of Miami Vice and Crime Story, and the general feel is of a mix of the two, which is why it is a don't miss for fans of either series.

I don't know how much Sizemore's personal demons had an impact on the show, but they can't have helped and it ended far too soon.

Robbery Homicide Division LA lasted only one and a half season (13 episodes), which is unfortunate. Try and catch it if you can - convoluted, action packed, and pulling relatively few punches - this show is highly recommended.

No, Vanessa Hudgens won't, She Will Not Play as Leah Clearwater In "New Moon". Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg says, "At the moment, the part of Leah doesn't happen until the 3rd movie."

As you know, the latest scoop in the world of "New Moon" casting is that "High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens, who recently auditioned for the role of Leah Clearwater 4 the "Twilight" sequel, probably will not be getting the part anytime soon.

Offcourse, apparently the character of Leah Clearwater will not appear until after "New Moon."

Melissa Rosenberg wrote both films. She told People at the 61st Annual Directors Guild of America Awards. "I'm not sure about [final] casting, but I had heard Vanessa Hudgens was going up for the part of Leah [Clearwater, a werewolf]," "But at the moment, the part of Leah doesn't happen until the third movie."

There's already been a lot of speculation that Dakota Fanning might be joining the cast of "New Moon" as vampire Jane, but Melissa Rosenberg didn't reveal any big news other than the fact that everybody is already gearing up for the film's shooting.

"Well, you know Taylor Lautner will be back as Jacob Black. I can tell you the original cast will all be coming back," she said. "They're on set right now in Vancouver. They're all up there prepping the movie to start shooting very soon."

"I am a happy person," Vanessa Hudgens says as she settles in to talk about the recent movie. The feature film is the end of a three-year journey that has made the 19-year-old Salinas, Calif., native a superstar. Her face is as well known as fellow Disney star Miley Cyrus or any one of the Jonas Brothers.

She would do anything for High School Musical. That's because she was drawn from the first audition to the opportunity to play such a positive Latino character.

She is this strong, positive young woman who is always fighting for the right thing. I am very proud to be part of it. "The teen is smart enough to figure it out and if you start lecturing, she will shut down," Beck says.

If your child doesn't want to talk about it at all, don't push it, experts say. Give your kid some space and tell her that if she doesn't want to talk at the moment, maybe you can revisit it another time.

The bottom line is that teen and tween behavior is much more likely to be influenced by peer pressure, what is going on in the home and what is happening at school than by what a pop star does, Seppinni says.

"Kids are more likely to be influenced by their day to day reality than by their fantasy world," she says.

The message you want your child to take away is that money and fame do not equal happiness, Seppinni says, adding, "This is a good life lesson for them to learn."

For a short time, No, not unless she gets pregnant. I say that because Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are so young. Both of them are not likely to stick together. But everyone is getting pregnant it seems so you never know.

They are so sweet together and Zac really likes hudgens and she really likes him and i dont think there is anyone else they would want to be with. And I don't just think its young love is more than that

The movie is rated G and the high school musical franchise is supported by most people aged 5-22, making it one of the most family oriented movies of modern times. I went to see a sneak peek in Utah with my 7 year old cousin and she loved it. Vanessa Hudgens sang the whole way home. On top of the facts that the statistics state I did a survey for my Social Studies project on the effects of HSM on the average student at my school, and out of the 25 people I asked, only 1 person didn't like.

Vanessa Hudgens.. A teenager and gonna go see it..and tons of these 15-18 year old girls/boys are gonna go see it too..its fun and something to do with ur friends and who cares what others think about it..cuz all that matters is what u think about it

HSM 3 is a teen movie and it is probably one of the best disney channel original movies. I'm lovin' HSM and HSM2 and REEEEAAALLLLYYY looking forward to the third one

It's not necessarily a "kids" movie but its very entertaining, fun and good to watch.

Its not a bad movie at all I luv high school musical and I have seen it so many times and its not even funny!!

Three words.... BEST.MOVIE.EVER.

Said Vanessa Hudgens of their three movies together with Zac Efron Ashley Tisdale Reminisce About Their 'High School Musical' Education. They sat down with MTV News to reminisce about their time together shooting the Disney franchise's swan song.

"We have an amazing time every time we get together. It's a blast." Vanessa Hudgens told MTV News.

"It's really hot in Utah, so we decided to buy a kiddie pool and put it in front of our trailers," Vanessa Hudgens said the cast devised a clever plan to beat the heat while shooting "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" in Utah. "We'd hang out in front of our kiddie pool and put our feet in and hang out when we weren't working."

"I think it's been a crazy journey for all the Wildcats, and watching them turn into adults is a great way to finish it off," Zac Efron said.

One Wildcat in particular thinks her character turned out exactly the way she would have wanted. "I really think you get to see my character Gabriella grow and turn into this strong, independent young woman," Hudgens said. "And I'm proud of the direction she took."

Vanessa Hudgens and Tisdale only have one regret this time around: not enough onscreen interaction between Tisdale's Sharpay and Hudgens' Gabriella. "The only thing I wish I did have was a musical number with Sharpay. Then I would be set," Hudgens laughed.

"We don't have any interaction in the third movie," Tisdale added. "We just have one moment. That one moment should have been turned into a musical number!"

And with this round of the cast moving on, Efron has faith that the new kids will pick up where they left off just fine. "I think that we see a lot of the same energy and enthusiasm as we carried ourselves," he said.

He Celebrates 21st Birthday W/ Vanessa Hudgens (his girlfriend), his Friends and his Family at L.A.'s Pace restaurant, and They all shared a nice meal together.

Celebrities From High School Musical, costars Monique Coleman and Ashley Tisdale came, along with her boyfriend Jared Murillo attended. Also in attendance where Amanda Bynes, Michelle Trachtenberg, Brittany Snow and the singing sisters Aly and AJ Michalka.

Several of the guests brought bottles of liquor for Zac Efron that something he can really use now that he's 21.
